M might be the most awesome baby ever!! She has such a great personality and makes me laugh all the time. She turns two weeks tomorrow. It's crazy that two weeks ago this little thing was still in my body! I'm still recovering from being sliced open. I'm really upset that I had to have a c-section I couldn't take care of her for almost a week and two weeks later I'm still in pain, not to mention I will have a lovely scar. Labor wasn't that bad(after the epidural) and it was just about over with when poor M's heart rate dropped. I was whisked to the OR and I completely freaked out when I couldn't feel my legs. It was the worst feeling I ever didn't feel(worse than the labor pains or being poked and prodded). I guess the umbilical cord was wrapped around her foot not allowing her to come down right. It was all worth it though. I couldn't love something anymore than I love her.

5 days till baby?

Today we got a glimpse of baby. It appears to be doing very well in utero. It was wiggling like crazy and we saw a smooshed little face. They guestimated that it was about 7.3 lbs which is kind of small for my family and I think kind of small for an overdue baby. Plus this baby only counts for 7.3 lbs of my 40+ lb weight gain? I have a lot of fat to lose after it's born. I have to say I'm very greatful because I have no stretch marks or any other weird things from this pregnancy ( except for a red freckle under my eye). I'm getting excited but very nervous about giving birth and going into the hospital. Right now I'm scheduled to go in Sunday night. Maybe I'll go before that but for some reason I think that this baby is very content being where it is.

How freakish is this? I guess they were able to remove the extra limbs and make this poor girl appear somewhat normal. The extra limbs are actually her twin which was absorbed into her body during the early stages of development. YIKES!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAEBY!

Three years ago today we got Maeby . She was so cute in her cage and was only there for a day. She was four months old when we got her. The same day that we got Maeby, my grandmother died. Then a few weeks later, Javen's grandmother died. It wasn't a very good month. Actually, November's have been notoriously bad for me. I really hope that this November will be very different. In the next week we will have a new member of our family! Actually, the new member is here right now, it's just hidden in my body. That's such a weird thing. I looked at some pictures that were taken of me in the last week and I'm HUGE. It's gross. I look like a cow. I think that this child is gaining about 1/2 pound a day. I will strangly miss this little thing being in me, but I really can't wait to start wearing normal clothing and lose weight!

Not done cookin yet

Today is my due date and no baby, no signs of labor, no nothing. I'm okay with it(probably because I'm getting really freaked out about actually having to go through labor)but the doctor seems really impatient. Today was my due date, so technically the baby isn't even late and they already made me have a non-stress test and wanted to induce me on Thursday! I don't want to force this poor child out if it's not ready yet. So many woman and doctors want to force labor or cut the baby out for convenience purposes. I'm not saying that I'm all natural about things. I do want any drugs that the doctor has to offer, but give the baby some time to come when it's ready. This being said, I'll probably end up being induced on Sunday and have this child on Veterans Day. In the meantime, I'm enjoying eating non-stop and being lazy.
